Celery - Tall Utah
‘Tall Utah’, sometimes called ‘Salt Lake’ was originally developed in the region of the Great Salt Lake in Utah. Resistant to most common celery diseases, many subsequent resistant cultivars have been developed from its descendants, ‘Tall Utah’ has since proven to be one of the most popular and dependable disease resistant varieties available.
Celery ‘Tall Utah’ has a compact habit with tightly folded hearts, and broad, moderately ribbed, stringless stalks. The plants grow to around 45 to 60cm tall. Resistant to bolting, it is a good choice for short seasons because it can be harvested at any stage.
